Jean-Marie del Moral's latest book, La maison du sculpteur (the sculptor's house), published by the Fenosa Foundation, is dedicated to Nicole and Apel.les Fenosa. Having divided their lives between the Paris of Montparnasse and the extraordinary house they owned in El Vendrell in Catalonia, this book takes us to El Portal del Pardo, into the private world of Fenosa, the great 20th-century sculptor. Through a series of photographs of furniture, sculptures, objects and interiors, Jean-Marie Del Moral immerses us in the summer world of Fenosa and his wife Nicole.
The book is complemented by photographs of Fenosa's sculptures, including the portrait of Dora Maar that he made with Picasso, as well as touching shots of his Paris studio.
This book, numbered to 300 copies and signed by Jean-Marie del Moral, is on sale for €75 on the website of the MAPFRE Foundation bookshop, Barcelona:
